Composite Resins: Strengthen Your Smile

A composite resin is a mixture of microscopic ceramic and glass particles dispersed in a plastic resin that can be bonded to teeth. Amalgams/Mercury Fillings-- Why?

 

For years there has been debate in the dental profession regarding the pros and cons of using silver amalgam fillings, which contain about 50% mercury, to restore cavities.
